#usfmep strongly condemns the increasingly frequent and alarming atrocities currently being committed by the mostly Muslim ex-Seleka forces and the Christian anti-balaka militias in the Central African Republic. USFMEP strongly advises that the groups involved are engaged by the international community to find a peaceful resolution to their conflict, helping to protect and save the lives of civilians in the Central African Republic.

In preparation for #HumanRightsDay tomorrow have a look at the #Universal Declaration of Human Rights, adopted by the #UN General Assembly on 10 December 1948, which represents the first #global expression of rights to which all human beings are inherently entitled. Even though it is not legally binding, the Declaration has been adopted in or has influenced most national constitutions since 1948. It has also served as the foundation for a growing number of national laws, international laws, and treaties. Know your rights!
